Not only do I have vegetables, but I also have flowers, this here is a veterans memorial rose. It’s actually not mine, but my grandma’s, but it looked amazing, so I had to take a picture. More pictures are found at: http://s1170.photobucket.com/albums/r528/JamesRondeauGardens/7-10-12/

So, as some of you may know, I’m vegan once again, and this time, since I cook all my own food, I thought I’d make a blog detailing what I make and the recipes for those items and pictures of the food. Here’s a link to my other blog, and you should follow it, whether you’re vegan or not, to get some great recipe ideas!

I will be heading over to my garden today to take initial planting day pictures, also to finish planting my potatoes and carrots. But, before I post pictures, I will put up a list of the different vegetables and fruits I will be growing this year.

So, today, I started planting all of my veggies, herbs, and flowers. I spent a fortune on plants and seeds and soaker hoses today, but it was well worth it. I have about 25 different fruits and vegetables in my garden right now. I couldn’t find any red or Yukon seed potatoes, so I’ll end up getting them tomorrow. I really can’t wait until the garden is lush, green, and ready to harvest. Soon, I will post a list of all the plants and vegetables in my garden.

So, I haven’t really found a way to use my tumblr since I made it, and I just found a way! I am going to use my tumblr as a record of my garden and my growing this year! I can’t wait, I’m so excited. I hope to post my list of varieties I’m planting this year in the next few days. I will update with posts, pictures, links, and hopefully, at some point, a great harvest!
